Quite the predicament....

So this morning when I went to get Tae up.....Here is what I saw.....he had gotten is leg through the crib bars....and his knee now won't go back through...so he was stuck this morning, well I didn't know how to get him out and every time I tried I was hurting him....so I called in Shad, and he came and magically got Tae out without hurting him, YEAH for DADDY'S...here are some pictures and some fun words that Tae is saying now while we were waiting for Daddy....:)

Gotta love waddle babies....

I had to post this, we were leaving the corn fest and Tae was soaked from the slide, so he was running around in his diaper, and I love watching his waddle run....it is sooo cute! :)

ROLLING OVER

Well he is officially growing up....Taren is now rolling over, laughing a lot, getting on a schedule, likes to be held all the time, especially when sleeping and in general a BLAST to be around. I love my life, with 3 amazing boys in it to spend wonderful moments with, I will also be posting pics of the house soon, the walls turned out great! Enjoy the rolling over pics....He also loves to find his toes and grab onto them....I got so lucky with such great boys!

Little Workers

Well since Shad has been doing a lot of work around the house, Tae has wanted to participate using Daddy's big tools....which of course are dangerous, so Dem brought over a tool table that Canyon had outgrown and I had my friend Laura bring her boys over and low and behold.....Cute worker boys...and the great thing is that Tae will find these goggles on purpose now and just wear them around the house....so funny! The last picture is of all the kids...notice in a different space with there own toy....this was to minimize the....MINE...NO....MINE....so funny! I LOVE having boys for Tae to play with....Thanks Laura for sharing them! :)

Tae turns 2

Ok it happened awhile ago, but I never wrote about it...so I am now, my sweet oldest boy turned 2 on August 2! I was in the field that day...it was a saturday, but we had a plan to celebrate when I got out of the field, well Shad being the cheater that he is...took him to dairy queen with his mom and he got the treat of his choice and had a blast, I have no pictures.....of that moment....I called him when I was in the field and missed him a lot that day! So when I got out, my cousin Cami and I planned a birthday dinner at their house and we had a wonderful meal of elk roast and birthday cupcakes! So here are the pictures! I can't believe sometimes it has been 2 years. Tae is so much fun to be around and really turning a corner on his talking and his awareness about things in life. It is fun watching him grow. I absolutely LOVE being his mom! What a blast! :) As you can see he was a little wary of the candle....

Time to catch up.....

Well so much has happened and I stay so flippin busy that I get behind on how things are going for us....I just got out of the field, but before that we went to Idaho, so here are some pictures of us on the horses.....we played softball on saturday with my uncle and were having a great time...well about 3 games in a guy on our team thought it would be fun to throw some fast pitches at them, kp said she would catch for me, well I threw a few pitches and I knew that was a bad idea from the start....I hadn't warmed up, I haven't pitched in awhile so my first few were crazy, I finally threw one right down the middle, and the other team was complaining, not seeing any fun in it....so I decided to stop...and right then I should have told Kp to get up, she was crouching down, because I was going to do a slow pitch, she saw I was but it was a crappy pitch, so she thought the guy wouldn't swing...well he did and foul tipped it right into her face....needless to say she ended up with 11 stitches....the game was no fun after that....then later we had a great fight that ended up with us both having some great clarity about each other and our relationship and really helped us get closer....so that was Idaho for ya...It was fun driving and chatting with my mom and my sister. I was grateful that my mom watched the boys while I went horse back riding and then horse back riding again when Kp came back from the hospital. So there you go....good times....well we also finally finished all the mudding and taping and painting downstairs....Shad picked wonderful colors and I will take some pictures after everything is moved back into place to show you how awesome it all looks! We are doing well, I am working more at Second Nature Entrada and loving it, still helping out Matt as his personal and testing assistant, and loving watching our boys grow up, Taren is getting bigger everyday, and Taegyn is just around the corner from talking sentences....it is so fun to have them in our lives and they keep us busy busy busy....glad to be getting a break from school, but come January it is nose to the books to study for the GRE, take it in the spring and then find a graduate program. I really can't believe the end of the year is almost here....what happened to 2008? I mean geez this year has flown by....its surreal to think I was pregnant back in April and had a baby that month, Taren seems so much bigger and older that that....more later!

UPDATE....FINALLY

So here it is everyone, my long awaited update....so I finished school, no wait I don't think you heard me....I FINISHED SCHOOL....:)at least my BA. Such a great moment, and I didn't just go out with a bang...I killed it with a 4.0 yes that is what I said a 4. freakin 0...pretty cool stuff. The day before I left the field was soo hectic....I was trying to take tests, finish projects, get ready for the field...and it all ended up great. Shad is finishing the downstairs and has the texture up on half of the walls, it is great timing because Tae started pulling the insulation out of the walls, so even though it is a HUGE mess....I am so glad it will be done, I am going to visit my Aunt in Wyoming this weekend, ride some horses and have plain old fun with my mom and sister, so hopefully when I get home on monday...its all painted, cleaned up and DONE...at least for now, that seems to be the theme....DONE at least for now with all the house remodeling, and school I guess, I still am going to get my Masters degree....Shad has done such a great job however and I will have to take some pictures of all the rooms he has finished, because they look fabulous, he never ceases to amaze me. So I have had the opportunity to go into the field pretty close together and it has been sooo much fun, I have been doing mentoring and it is so nice to feel appreciated for what I believe I am really good at, the staff have really enjoyed having me out! The weather has been pretty mellow which is nice since usually it is so flippin hot this time of year, the rain has kept it cooler. I was in an adolescent boys group and they have been really fun to work with, willing to be silly and willing to work on themselves, plus the therapist in that group is great to. Its been nice to work and catch up on bills and start saving for all sorts of times ahead. So the one bummer is I missed Tae's 2nd birthday, he turned 2 on Saturday the 2nd, and I kid you not, that day I had dragonflys around me all day, that is one of Tae's totems...I knew he knew I was thinking of him! And that I missed him that day and vice versa...he still is too young to really know what birthdays are all about, so I didn't feel too bad about missing it, but next year...BIG PARTY! We got him a new toy and Grandma sent him a card and some missionary fund money and a doodler, he loves to draw on it. We are going to celbrate it tomorrow before I go, so I will get some great pictures! So needless to say it is nice to sit back take a breath and just be able to enjoy the rest of the summer and have some fun! Taren is getting so big as well, he is such a joy to have around and I am SOO excited they are close, he wanted to come and be close to his brother, so I am glad we listened. Anyways enjoy the pictures, and I am back on the BLOG train....more to come soon!
